Custom Game

If you wish to fully customize your game experience, you can opt to instead use the Custom Game options. These are granular settings that allow you to cater the difficulty and mechanics precisely to your desired challenge and enjoyment of the game.

If you wish to disable certain mechanics, make all building placement free, or even make your villagers ignore all their needs, these settings are for you.

You can also take things in the opposite direction and increase the difficulty scaling. You can make certain resources never spawn on the map, cause wolves to spawn with much greater frequency, and more. With Custom Game options, you can set the challenge exactly the way you want.

Note that due to the flexibility offered by Custom Game options, achievement progress is disabled when enabling any of the options.
